An excellently German made case which can fit most contrabassoons (lowest note Bb). It is very lightweight but protective, with a thick soft velvet lined and molded interior, making it ideal contrabassoonist that needs to move between locations.
It is easy to travel around with 3 options for carrying the case; padded & adjustable backpack straps, a shoulder strap and carry handles. All connections have reinforced stitching to ensure strength and durability. The closure zip is extra large for added strength and the bottom of the case has a rugged anti-slip plastic square to allow the case to be stood up on the floor whilst protecting your instrument.
There are 2 large exterior pockets; one large enough for sheet music and accessories and another for the included hard crook case for 2 crooks and with a little more space for other smaller items.
This case has been tested with Fox, Mollenhauer, Puchner and Heckel contrabassoons.
