Arrived quickly, quiality is great
After a brief initial soak both reeds have sounded good but one was playing a bit flat to start. This now seems to be improving, but of course much of the fault could be with the player!
I am finding this reed suits me and is a good replacement for the Professional bassoon reed that seems no longer available
Upon arrival, the reeds were far too free-blowing, and one had a defective staple where the cork extended past the end of the staple. This raises concerns about whether any quality checks were carried out before shipping.
I contacted Crook and Staple through their online chat function but received no response. I then followed up via email, yet there has still been no reply. Given this experience, I would not recommend this company and will not be using them again.

Delivery was slow… I was told that order had been despatched on Saturday 11th but it didn’t arrive until Thursday 16th!
Reeds arrived promptly and the responses is satisfactory. Only minor adjustments are needed but it's really to adjust to suit my personal quirks.
